Department of Roga Nidan
Roganidan Evum Vikriti Vigyan is a subject that deals with understanding of the disease’s
etiopathogenesis according to the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, as well as contemporary
science. It imparts primary knowledge to the students to be able to diagnose the disease via the
means of understanding the causative factors, pathogenesis, clinical features of the disease. In
addition to that, further approach to diagnosis the disease is done by clinical examination of the
patient as well as utilizing various investigations such as laboratory and other investigations.
The department of Roganidan Evum Vikriti Vigyan in North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and
Homoeopathy (NEIAH), is thoroughly prepared to engage in imparting theoretical, clinical and
laboratory education to the 2nd year BAMS students in the college. In the hospital it is providing
outpatient and inpatient services along with wide range of diagnostic tests for which a well-
equipped clinical laboratory is present.
